Tab Trade — What It Is
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
That last detail is relevant. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is broad.
What You Trade On
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should round things out when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker does not.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That is something about priorities.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
Now, the detail that matters. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your assessment.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You put money in, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
